Our client for this position is the small US (and Mexico) office of a very established international premium wines & spirits company.

Objective

Lead all operational marketing needs and activities for the company throughout the USA (and Mexico)

Ideal Profile

The ideal profile for this position is a bilingual English and Spanish marketing professional with top education background (MBA) and coming from a well known consumer or luxury goods company providing excellent operational marketing experience (Wine & spirits preferred, but fragrances, cosmetics, watches and other luxury products categories are welcome)

Job Description

• Ensure nationwide implementationof the USA marketing plan
• Design, implement and monitor all promotional activities (implement and track Trade programs state by state, tracking results and ROI all on marketing activities, manage POS budgets and logistics
• Act as a Key Account person for the brand with 10 Florida key accounts (visit customers and points of sales, develop sales…)
• Develop and implement the marketing mix for all new brands joining the US portfolio
• Maintain reporting tools to track and mesure the business
• Maintain the good legal standing and image of the company

Requirements

• 3 to 5 minimum years of professional experience
• proven track of success in brand management in any of the following categories (wine & spirits, watches & jewelry, fragrances & cosmetics, fashion & accessories, etc…)
• Fluent English and proficient Spanish a must
• MBA strongly preferred
• Ability to work with limited supervision and limited support
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (mostly Excel and PowerPoint)
• Valid US work authorization (US citizenship, Green Card, or transferable visa)

Compensation

• $65k to $75k base + bonus + benefits

Job Description

Title: Retail Territory Sales Manager

Location: Miami, FL(Home Based)

Direct reports: 3 Account Managers

Territory: South Florida

Objective:

• Manage the sales and delivery process to retail customers within an assigned Territory.
• Manage relationships directly and through others with Distributors, Key Accounts, and retail outlets.
• Develop the sales and business skills of direct reports.

Ideal Profile:

Experienced Sales Manager with proven track of records working directly with retailers or through distributors in the consumer goods industries.

Main Responsibilities:

• Build Distributor and Key Account plans
• Determine the assignment of Distributors and Key Accounts to Account Managers
• Conduct Key Account calls directly, and monitor calls for accounts assigned to others. Review current and prior performance and identify performance above and below budget/target.
• Communicate with Account Managers as needed to reinforce performance, determine appropriate course of remedial action as required. Address pending issues with direct reports individually or as a group.
• Visit individual distributors, Key Accounts, and customer outlets as requested by Director or Account Managers.
• Manage relationships with Supply Chain and Finance functions, and insure Distributor compliance with agreements on inventory, sales, and payments.
• Train and develop the sales and business skills of Account Managers, and Merchandisers to implement market programs and achieve sales goals.
• Reinforce the merchandising scheme for the Company. Insure customer locations maintain product availability, brands, and position according to the merchandising plan for that type of outlet.
• Implement sales programs in appropriate key accounts and individual outlets.
• Monitor merchandising in outlets according to plan for that outlet, and communicate with customers, distributor personnel, Account Managers, as appropriate.
• Monitor inventory stocks in outlets served and in distributors directly or through others. Recommend changes in inventory level to maintain availability and prevent over-age product.
• Review sales call and outlet statistics and key performance indicators by outlet, Key Account Group, Area, Distributor and overall. Revise or create plans to address shortfalls, achieve sales plan.
• Communicate information to other Department as appropriate.

Requirements:

• 6 years minimum experience as Retail Sales Manager in Consumer Goods (preferably Beverages)
• Proven track record in Analytics and Category Management
• Forecast and Demand Planning experience
• Proven Direct Key Account Experience across Retail channels
• Management previous experience
• Distributor Management experience
• Entrepreneur and Business Developer Mindset
• UP-TO-DATE US work authorization (US Citizenship, Green Card, H1B with more than 3 years possible renewal)

Compensation:

• Around $95k annual base salary depending on experience
• 20% bonus
• Car Allowance
• Full benefits package
