<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The Country Manager for Brazil will supervise the development of the company in Brazil. This will include participating actively in a very aggressive store opening plan, but also the purchasing, the operations and the recruitment.</p>

<p>The ideal profile for this role is an experienced retail executive, with very international background, but deep knowledge of the Brazilian market. Department store background is very appreciated as well as luxury or beauty products.</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Participate in setting up a development strategy and business plan for Brazil with the General Manager Latin America and the Americas Headquarters</li>
<li>Participate, coordinate and supervise the store opening on his/her territory</li>
<li>Supervise the purchasing and the assortment as well as relationships with suppliers</li>
<li>Implement operational processes</li>
<li>Actively participate in the team members recruitments at a regional and retail level (Buyers, Marketing Managers, Store Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Associates&#8230;)</li>
<li>Manage store operations after their opening and ensure sales and operational goals achievements</li>
</ul>

<li>Bachelor in Business Administration or equivalent (Masters degree preferred)</li>
<li>About 10 years successful experience  in a retail management environment</li>

<li>Design and develop new channel development initiatives with the whole range of retailers: discounters, mass retailers, specialty stores, department stores, independents and warehouse clubs</li>
<li>Anticipate trends and fashion</li>
<li>Participate in developing sales campaigns, sales programs, collaterals, new packaging with the Marketing Director</li>
<li>Overseeing the strategy in opening knew key accounts in particular specialty and department stores</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>

<li>Perfect knowledge of the Houseware and Tabletop categories (Dinnerware, Tableware, Flatware, Glassware, Stemware, Chinaware, Kitchenware, Cutlery Knife Sets, Gourmet Gadgets, Cookware, Electric Appliances…)</li>
<li>Up-to-date address book of buyers with all the retailer types mentioned above (in particular Department Stores, Specialty Stores and large independents)</li>
<li>Strong previous experience of both Marketing and Sales responsibilities</li>
<li>Strong previous experience of the US domestic market and Canada. The rest of the world is a plus</li>
