<p>Our client is the Miami office dedicated to the Latin American and US Hispanic markets of a very large media/TV company.</p>
<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>To maintain and report the core balance sheet and profit &#038; loss account financial data on a timely and accurate basis, control cash management and accounts payable procedures, assist in the development of processes/procedures and financial/commercial aspects of the company.<br />
Responsibilities will encompass process development, reporting, budgeting/forecasting, maintenance of the control environment and provision of mid level business analysis and support to the senior management team.  </p>

<p>The ideal profile is a high potential financial professional with background in both Accounting and Finance willing to work for a Media Giant in a very fast growing environment.</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Ensure vendor invoices are processed in a controlled and timely manner and payment is made within payment terms.</li>
<li>Be the key point of control for monthend financial accounting.</li>
<li>Ensure all intercompany invoices are completed on a timely basis each month and that intercompany reconciliations are accurate and up to date.</li>
<li>Prepare management reporting Headquarters</li>
<li>Prepare and make General Ledger entries and review results to close monthly accounts accurately and in line with the established timetable</li>
<li>Report and monitor performance of the company against short and long term business plans &#038; budgets.</li>
<li>To prepare paperwork for investment cases as required in connection with the expansion of the business.</li>
<li>Track sales performance and performance against key metrics in the growth stage of the business unit.</li>
<li>Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for Director Of Finance and Senior VP of Latam region review.</li>
<li>Actively manage the region&#8217;s Accounts receivable and Accounts Payable process.</li>
<li>Work with the Finance Director to deploy and refine processes including: (1)Deploy and manage the financial processes around client and sales creation in SAP (2)Monitor and Manage the financial processes around client and sales creation delivered business partners. (3)Manage the invoicing of Ad agency sales through SAP SD for.com and a third party invoicing agency for TV ad sales. (4)Manage and undertake reconciliation between Traffic systems, invoicing systems and ledger systems.</li>
<li>Miscellaneous tasks as identified, potentially including: (1) Review and Documentation of processes. (2) Ad hoc projects.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Degree in accounting or finance preferably corporate accounting experience.</li>
<li>Strong financial accounting skills (3 companies to monitor) and analytical ability.</li>
<li>Experience of working in a commercial environment with business unit heads. TV experience a strong plus.</li>
<li>Strong financial accounting and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Fully bi-lingual (Spanish-English).</li>
<li>Strong GAAP required, Mx GAAP and IFRS Desirable.</li>
<li>Knowledge of SAP or other similar finance system, strong Excel skills essential, knowledge of Ad sales systems and processes helpful.</li>
<li>Ability to identify processes and propose, design, document and implement new procedures.</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of accuracy and presentation in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Good organisational strengths, self-starting and ability to identify areas of concern, devise a method of resolution and see the resolution carried out in full</li>
<li>Methodical, reliable, diligent and enthusiastic team worker.</li>
<li>Experience of working in a commercial environment with business unit heads</li>
<li>Ability to think independently in a constructive and positive manner. Must be proactive.</li>

<p>Our client for this position is a Wine &#038; Spirits distributor working with some of the most prestigious liquor, champagne and wine brands in Travel Retail and Latin American local markets.</p>
<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The Junior Area Sales Manager will be in charge of developing several liquor and wine brands with Latin American local markets. In the mean time he will also act as a Brand Manager for 1 specific brand.</p>

<p>The ideal profile is a dynamic entrepreneurial entry level well rounded sales professional with personal interest or previous experience in Wine &#038; Spirits and willing to travel 50%+ of the time. Ideally this person will have a previous experience in working with Latin America.</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Forecast sales by brand and by territory</li>
<li>Travel and meet with the distributors</li>
<li>Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients</li>
<li>Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS</li>
<li>Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget</li>
<li>Visit points of sales</li>
<li>Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented</li>
<li>Train the sales staff</li>
<li>Coordinate promotional events and launches</li>
<li>Control inventory</li>
<li>Watch competition and market trends</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)</li>
<li>1 to 2 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries, latin american local markets or travel retail (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food &#038; beverage, wine &#038; spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)</li>
<li>Bilingual English and Spanish (French and/or Portuguese a plus)</li>
<li>Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular</li>
<li>VERY open to Travel internationally and work extended hours</li>
<li>Familiar with multicultural and international environment</li>
