Our client for this opportunity is an Eyewear group with an office in Miami in charge of the Travel Retail channel in the Americas

Objective

The main responsibility of this role is to develop, manage and drive forward the Travel Retail marketing activities of the company in North, Central and South American Area in order to increase the brands’ visibility and market share on these markets.

Ideal Profile

The ideal profile is someone with 2 to 4 years of experience in the Travel Retail industry regardless of the product category (luxury Goods, fragrances, cosmetics, watches, accessories, wine & spirits, tobacco, confectionery…)

Job Description

• To take part in the budget definition and follow-up the local marketing budget.
• To negotiate prime space and locations in each store coupled with the maintenance of a high profile counter image.
• To select best suppliers and interact with them daily to develop generic or personalised fixture and solutions to expose the brands, and to produce all the marketing materials to promote the collections.
• To create, set up and implement promotional and merchandising programs by account, in line with Travel Retail corporate recommendations.
• To train, manage, supervise and motivate Duty Free sales staff on brands and collections
• To organize local trade shows.
• To follow through all priorities and projects assigned by Travel Retail Marketing manager.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar position
• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required. French, Portuguese and/or German a plus
• Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent planning and organizing skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities; ability to multi-task.
• Strong communication skills: written and verbal.
• Superior time management skills.
• Pro-active and dynamic, needs to be a self-starter.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Willing to travel if necessary
