<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of developing several liquor and wine brands within the Americas (Travel Retail and Latin American local markets).</p>
<h3>Ideal Profile</h3>
<p>The ideal profile is a dynamic entrepreneurial entry level well rounded sales professional with personal interest or previous experience in Wine &#038; Spirits and willing to travel 50%+ of the time. Ideally this person will have a previous experience in working with Latin America. We need someone with analytical skills and very sales driven. </p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Forecast sales by brand and by territory</li>
<li>Travel and meet with the distributors</li>
<li>Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients</li>
<li>Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS</li>
<li>Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget</li>
<li>Visit points of sales</li>
<li>Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented</li>
<li>Train the sales staff</li>
<li>Coordinate promotional events and launches</li>
<li>Control inventory</li>
<li>Watch competition and market trends</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>

<li>Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)</li>
<li>3 to 5  years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries, latin american local markets or travel retail (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food &#038; beverage, wine &#038; spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)</li>

Align with other Trade Marketing Managers to ensure a consistent and coherent look for the brand globally; keeping fixtures and visuals up to date and ensuring timing of promotional events are aligned to ensure maximum impact</li>

Fully understand the market dynamics of ITR confectionary market  to seek out and identify business growth opportunities (brand strategies and new product development) in liaison with Marketing.</li>

Continuously gather intelligence/research on the brand’s performance, customer and consumer attitudes to identify opportunities and improvements.</li>

Present and review marketing activity and performance at sales and marketing conferences and other meetings.</li>

<p>Our client for this position is a Duty Free Distributor and Retailer with stores in Airports across the world.</p>
<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>Liaise with Global Category Heads / Managers and Regional Category Managers, Logistics and Suppliers to ensure the smooth and efficient implementation of all promotional activities negotiated by the Procurement Team.</p>

<p>PRICE-OFF ACTIONS / ADVERTISING WITH BROCHURE
<ul>
<li>Follow up all aspects of activity once the GCH/M has completed the relevant negotiation</li>
<li>Obtain pack shots from suppliers</li>
<li>Confirm retail prices</li>
<li>Ensure forecasts are obtained by region/supplier</li>
<li>Confirm forecasts to relevant logistics team</li>
<li>Co-ordinate all the above aspects with the Marketing Department.</li>
<li>Inform the A&#038;P Department of details for invoicing</li>
</ul>
<p>HPP&#8217;s/SPP&#8217;s
<ul>
<li>In accordance with the GCH/M&#8217;s strategy with each supplier provide support between supplier, region and Basel for the following:</li>
<li>Define the subjects, the periods and the sales objectives with the suppliers</li>
<li>Keep logistics and regions informed if any change occurs</li>
<li>Coordinate the orders and logistics with the regions and the logistics teams in Basel</li>
<li>Implement and follow up the promotions and provide a result summary sheet</li>
<li>Coordinate planning with A&#038;P assistant for invoicing to suppliers</li>
</ul>
<p>COORDINATE REDUCTION OF SLOW MOVING STOCK
<ul>
<li>Identify old, slow and discontinued merchandise in central warehouse</li>
<li>Together with relevant GCH/M&#8217;s take action to reduce this inventory by means of Return to supplier,</li>
<li>Destruction, Staff shop, Use in specific price off promotions or Allocation to agreed airports</li>
<li>Specifically responsible for the clearance of stock through Basel Staff shop</li>
</ul>
<p>GENERAL
<ul>
<li>Ensure understanding and adherence to standard policies and procedures for the Procurement Community</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>3 to 4 years of experience in a relevant position with a consumer or luxury goods brand, a duty free distributor or retailer, or a department store</li>
<li>Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred</li>
<li>Intermediate to Advance level of proficiency in Microsoft Office(MS Excel in particular)</li>
<li>Excellent planning and organizing skills; ability to prioritize and plan work activities; ability to multi-task.  </li>

<p>The ideal profile is a senior executive preferably with experiences in both public and family owned companies, knowing very well the US dosmectic market and coming from one of those industries: Food, Beverage, Wine, Spirits and/or Tobacco. The organisation is very sales driven and the right candidate  will have to be extremely familiar with the field (preferably will come from a Sales background, as opposed to strategic marketing.)</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Act as primary link between the Group’s strategic plan and day-to-day commercial operations in the US</li>
<li>Develop and implement short- and long-range sales/marketing strategies and objectives</li>
<li>Increase product distribution and POS visibility with independent and key account customers (primarily C-stores and drugstore chain channels)</li>
<li>Lead brand portfolio development and marketing initiatives specific to US consumers</li>
<li>Optimize field sales execution via sales training and field management IT system</li>
<li>Responsible for commercial budget planning and control</li>

<h3>Requirements</h3>

<li>Excellent understanding of commercial aspects of US consumer market (experience in food, beverage, wine, spirits and/or tobacco is a must)</li>
