<p>The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of developing several liquor and wine brands within the Americas (Travel Retail and Latin American local markets).</p>

<p>To ensure consistent brand development across the Latin and South American region/channel in Travel Retail and Duty Free, delivering a sustainable growth of sell-out, sell-in and EBIT, while respecting the brand&#8217;s guidelines.</p>

<li> Understanding the customers/market’s needs (duty free shops, airport environments) and translating them into proposed action plans</li>
<li> Following-up the animation plan implementation</li>
<li> Anticipating risks and seizing business opportunities</li>
<li> Managing and following-up with the P&amp;L and ensuring corrective measures are taken when appropriate</li>
<li> Ensuring forecast accuracy for the region and taking ownership of those forecasts</li>
<li> Ensuring payments are received on time</li>
<li> Proposing, managing and providing accurate &amp; straight to the point monthly analysis on the global business unit’s activity (sell-in, sell-out, stock level, launches, and customer &amp; market achievements) and assessing the global performance of the business.</li>
<li> Consistently communicate with internal business unit sales and marketing teams as well as external buyers and data analysis providers.</li>

<p>Our client is the is a large and international luxury fragrance &#038; cosmetics group. The position is for their Latin America office in Miami.</p>
<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The objective in this position is to provide product trainings to Beauty Advisors (aka Beauty Consultants) across Latin America. In addition you will be expected to manage the trainers employed locally by your distributors (provide guide-lines, follow-up&#8230;). Finally you will also be expected to act as Sell-Out Manager to make sure everything works well on the points of sales (flash trainings, merchandising, incentive programs, inventory&#8230;). </p>
<h3>Ideal Profile</h3>
<p>The ideal profile for this job is someone who is EXTREMELY OPEN TO TRAVEL internationally (75%), with PASSION FOR TRAINING and PUBLIC SPEAKING as well as strong retail experience in Fragrances and/or cosmetics (if possible including retail management) and with excellent communication abilities. The candidate also need to be perfectly bilingual in English AND Spanish. Proficiency with MS Office is a must (not as expert, but still&#8230;)</p>

<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The candidate will manage half of South America, travel to markets according to yearly schedule, and implements Sales and Marketing policies. He/she will keep track of competition, will be fully responsible for achieving Sales and marketing Budgets within South America by respecting  the brand&#8217;s guidelines , under the supervision of the Regional Director.</p>
<h3>Ideal Profile</h3>
<p>We are looking for someone with a Watch industry background, fully bilingual English and Spanish and available to travel internationally about 50% of the time. </p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Analyzes sell thru changes and modify recommended assortments, based on forecast and customer sales history.</li>
<li>Maintains contact with in-store sales personnel to maintain top of mind presence.</li>
<li>Takes POS pictures and archive in database. Inform.</li>
<li>Negotiates display and corner space per brand, per store.</li>
<li>Checks for proper merchandising, and corrects as needed.</li>
<li>Implements local promotions and launches.</li>
<li>Trains Points of Sales personnel regularly on products and merchandising.</li>
<li>Follows up on implementations of marketing flow chart during each visit and reports variances to RSM and MM. </li>
<li>Collects invoices and back-up info on marketing activities.</li>
<li>Collects information regarding competition (level of sales, ranking, new products, new POS). Updates competition distribution charts per market.</li>
<li>Evaluates existing distribution, and proposes accounts’ opening and closing.</li>
<li>Controls inventories and propose orders based on Inventory Management forms. </li>
<li> Analyses  customers orders before forwarding internally for further processing .</li>
<li>Follow up on backorder situation</li>
<li>Organizes local promotions, launches, and training sessions.</li>
<li>Keeps display and transparencies databases constantly updated.</li>
<li>Analyses variances with RSM, and implements corrective measures.</li>
<li>Chases receivables to be payed on due dates by customers under the control of  Finance in Miami.  Sorts out  pending issues on accounts receivable  with  client based on info of Finance </li>
<li>Reports regularly on market conditions, competition activities and distribution changes.</li>
<li>Updates regularly database regarding competition pricing and distribution. </li>
<li>Prepares account pre-opening forms and supplies necessary information for account opening.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>

<li>College degree required, master&#8217;s degree preferred</li>
<li>3-5 years of relevant professional experience</li>
<li>Bilingual English and Spanish (French is a strong plus)</li>
<li>Knowledge of and skill in using MS Office: Word, Excel and Powerpoint </li>
<li>Self motivation and ability to handle several different roles within the territory (sales, training, merchandising etc)</li>
<li>Excellent written communication skills for creating correspondence;</li>

<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The objective for this Travel Retail Area Sales Manager is to develop relationship and business with the key Duty Free Distributors and Operators of the Americas Region (North America, Latin America and Caribean).</p>
<h3>Ideal Profile</h3>
<p>The ideal profile for this Area Sales Manager position is someone coming from the Duty Free/ Travel Retail industry with a successful previous experience as an Area Sales Manager. The Category of product is not a must (could be: Fragrances, Cosmetics, Wine &#038; Spritis, Tobacco, Watches &#038; Accessories&#8230;)</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Maintain the high level of recognition of the company / brand name in the Duty Free</li>
<li>Design, implement and enforce procedures required to be able to grow the business with existing and new customers</li>
<li>Follow-up of promotional activities designed with the Marketing departement</li>
<li>Manage your sales forecasts and marketing budgets precisely</li>
<li>Watch competition and local legal requirements</li>
<li>Develop marketing and promotional activities to support sales in the points of sales</li>
<li>Analyze your monthly sales and explain variances</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>
<ul>
<li>MBA strongly preferred</li>
<li>3 to 5 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries in the Travel Retail / Duty Free channels or in international sales (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food &#038; beverage, wine &#038; spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)</li>
<li>Bilingual English and Spanish (French and/or Portuguese a plus)</li>
<li>Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular</li>

<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of managing his Latin American and Caribbean local accounts in the Travel Retail / Duty Free channel to develop the business. Sell-in negotiations with buyers, advising clients on marketing budget allocations for promotions and product launches, points on sale visits, merchandising and inventory control&#8230; Run your own business, with your own territory, your own clients, your own P&#038;L&#8230;</p>

<p>The ideal profile is an ambitious professional with great academic background (American University MBA strongly preferred). Previous experience in Latin American Travel Retail is a strong plus (or international sales). Open to travel extensively, both sales oriented and analytical, the Area Sales Manager is also an entrepreneur in a sense that his manages his own P&#038;L, territory and clients. </p>

<li>Forecast sales by product and by territory</li>
<li>Travel and meet with the distributors</li>
<li>Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients</li>
<li>Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS</li>
<li>Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget</li>
<li>Manage your P&#038;L on your territory (for senior level)</li>
<li>Visit points of sales</li>
<li>Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented</li>
<li>Train the sales staff</li>
<li>Coordinate promotional events and launches</li>
