<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>The objective for this Travel Retail Area Sales Manager is to develop relationship and business with the key Duty Free Distributors and Operators of the Asia Pacific Region.</p>
<h3>Ideal Profile</h3>
<p>The ideal profile for this Area Sales Manager position is someone coming from the Duty Free/ Travel Retail industry with a successful previous experience as an Area Sales Manager in the Asia Pacific Region. The Category of product is not a must (could be: Fragrances, Cosmetics, Wine &#038; Spritis, Tobacco, Watches &#038; Accessories&#8230;). Knowing of Mandarin or Cantonese language a very strong plus.</p>

<li>Maintain the high level of recognition of the company / brand name in the Duty Free</li>
<li>Design, implement and enforce procedures required to be able to grow the business with existing and new customers</li>
<li>Follow-up of promotional activities designed with the Marketing departement</li>
<li>Manage your sales forecasts and marketing budgets precisely</li>
<li>Watch competition and local legal requirements</li>
<li>Develop marketing and promotional activities to support sales in the points of sales</li>
<li>Analyze your monthly sales and explain variances</li>
</ul>
<h3>Requirements</h3>

<li>MBA strongly preferred</li>
<li>3 to 5 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries in the Travel Retail / Duty Free channels or in international sales for the Asia-Pacific region (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food &#038; beverage, wine &#038; spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)</li>
<li>Fluent in English (French a plus)</li>

<p>Propose and elaborate tailor-made animation and trade plans allowing the brand to increase its market share in each account. Develop processes to ensure the marketing initiatives are executed with excellence.</li>

Act as the primary point of contact with the customer base for the execution of initiatives agreed by Area/Regional management.</li>

Plan, develop and implement personalization projects with internal and external partners</li>

Prepare and manage trade fairs </li>

Participate in key business reviews’ preparation and presentation and generate fresh ideas.</li>

In close relation with the Business Analysis Manager, ensure that trade plans to deliver sell out and market share targets.</li>

Ensure alignment across the Business Unit on field sales needs and marketing initiatives.</li>
<li>
Align with other Trade Marketing Managers to ensure a consistent and coherent look for the brand globally; keeping fixtures and visuals up to date and ensuring timing of promotional events are aligned to ensure maximum impact</li>
<li>
Fully understand the market dynamics of ITR confectionary market  to seek out and identify business growth opportunities (brand strategies and new product development) in liaison with Marketing.</li>
<li>
Continuously gather intelligence/research on the brand’s performance, customer and consumer attitudes to identify opportunities and improvements.</li>
<li>
Present and review marketing activity and performance at sales and marketing conferences and other meetings.</li>

<p>Our client for this Area Sales Manager position is the Americas Travel Retail office of a well known European Fine Chocolate Brand.</p>
<h3>Objective</h3>
<p>To ensure consistent brand development across the Latin and South American region/channel in Travel Retail and Duty Free, delivering a sustainable growth of sell-out, sell-in and EBIT, while respecting the brand&#8217;s guidelines.</p>
<h3>Ideal Profile</h3>
<p>The ideal profile is someone with strong international sales Travel Retail &amp; Duty Free background. Bilingual English and Spanish. Preferably someone who has already been an Area Sales Manager in Travel Retail, but in any type of category (Fragrance, Cosmetics, Wine &amp; Spirits, Watches &amp; Jewelry, Food, Confectionery, Fashion, Accessories, Tobacco&#8230;)</p>
<h3>Job Description</h3>
<ul>
<li>Building the relevant sales strategy for the region –Latin and South America</li>
<li> Defining and proposing a detailed sales plan per Duty Free customer</li>
<li> Negotiating trade terms, space allocation, animation exposure, etc.</li>
<li> Understanding the customers/market’s needs (duty free shops, airport environments) and translating them into proposed action plans</li>
<li> Following-up the animation plan implementation</li>
<li> Anticipating risks and seizing business opportunities</li>
<li> Managing and following-up with the P&amp;L and ensuring corrective measures are taken when appropriate</li>
<li> Ensuring forecast accuracy for the region and taking ownership of those forecasts</li>
<li> Ensuring payments are received on time</li>
<li> Proposing, managing and providing accurate &amp; straight to the point monthly analysis on the global business unit’s activity (sell-in, sell-out, stock level, launches, and customer &amp; market achievements) and assessing the global performance of the business.</li>
<li> Consistently communicate with internal business unit sales and marketing teams as well as external buyers and data analysis providers.</li>

<p>The objective for this Travel Retail Area Sales Manager is to develop relationship and business with the key Duty Free Distributors and Operators of the Americas Region (North America, Latin America and Caribean).</p>

<li>Design, implement and enforce procedures required to be able to grow the business with existing and new customers</li>
<li>Follow-up of promotional activities designed with the Marketing departement</li>
<li>Manage your sales forecasts and marketing budgets precisely</li>
<li>Watch competition and local legal requirements</li>
<li>Develop marketing and promotional activities to support sales in the points of sales</li>
<li>Analyze your monthly sales and explain variances</li>

<h3>Requirements</h3>

<li>MBA strongly preferred</li>
<li>3 to 5 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries in the Travel Retail / Duty Free channels or in international sales (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food &#038; beverage, wine &#038; spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)</li>
<li>Bilingual English and Spanish (French and/or Portuguese a plus)</li>

<p>The ideal profile is a senior executive preferably with experiences in both public and family owned companies, knowing very well the US dosmectic market and coming from one of those industries: Food, Beverage, Wine, Spirits and/or Tobacco. The organisation is very sales driven and the right candidate  will have to be extremely familiar with the field (preferably will come from a Sales background, as opposed to strategic marketing.)</p>

<li>Act as primary link between the Group’s strategic plan and day-to-day commercial operations in the US</li>
<li>Develop and implement short- and long-range sales/marketing strategies and objectives</li>
