Our Client

Our client for this opportunity is a fast growing fashion Eyewear company with opticals and sunglasses, based in New York is looking to expand its Sales team.

Objective

Direct Sales position for multiple eyewear collections, to include house and designer eyewear brands.
The successful candidate will prospect and foster client relationships and solicit sales orders from North American independent optical retailers within their territory (Florida in this case). It is a home based position where 90% of your time will be dedicated to visit potential and existing retail customers.

Ideal Profile

We need a true Brand Ambassador of this very trendy and upcoming Eyewear company. We also need someone who is a very sales driven professional, who likes fashion categories in general (not specifically Eyewear) and who likes the field, the interaction with clients and the retail environment. Someone coming from and outside sales representative position in Eyewear/Optical, Pharmaceutical, Watches & Jewelry, Fashion, etc…

Job Description

  • providing top notch client support
  • managing accounts both via sell in of products as well as assisting the account to meet sell through or sales growth goals
  • proactively working to win new sales initiatives and board space management opportunities

Requirements

  • Sales experience, passion for working with people and building long term sales relationships
  • Strong communication and administrative skills for client relations as well as corporate reporting follow up
  • Work well independently and be self-motivated for constant cold calling of prospective sales accounts as well as sales routing coordination
  • 1-2 years experience in product sales, consumer, fashion apparel and/or accessories (Optical sales experience a plus, not a prerequisite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications such as Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate
  • Appreciated previous experience: Arnette, Bolle, Chanel, Charmant, D&G, De Rigo, Dior, Eco, Gucci, L’Oreal, Luxottica, LVMH, Marcolin, Marchon, Maui Jim, Modo, Oakley, Prada, Ray-Ban, Safilo, Schmied, Silouhette, Versace
  • Appreciated previous titles: Territory Manager, Sales Representative, Sales Rep, Outside Sales

Compensation

  • Base + Bonus
