Our Client
Our client for this position is the Latin America and Travel Retail office af a very large Luxury Goods group.
Objective
This Area Sales Manager will be in charge of travelling extensively to Latin American accounts to implement sales and marketing policies (training, merchandising, operations marketing coordination).
Ideal Profile
The ideal profile for this role is a sales executive or sales representative with 4 to 8 years experience in luxury goods for Latin American or Travel Retail markets.
Job Description
- Optimizes sales per customer per point of sales according to agreed budget, and marketing investment guidelines.
- Visits customers regularly to:
- Inform on sell thru changes and modifies recommended assortments
- Maintain contact with sales personnel, and train them
- Control inventories and propose orders based on inventory management forms
- Forward orders to Sales Assistant in Miami
- Take point of sales pictures
- Negotiates display and corner space per brand, per store
- Checks for proper merchandising, and corrects as needed
- Organizes local promotions, launches, and training sessions
- Trains Points of Sales personnel regularly on products and merchandising
- Reports regularly on market conditions, competition activities and distribution changes
- Follows up on implementations of marketing events
Requirements
- 4 to 8 years experience in Luxury Goods with Latin America, the Caribbean and / or Travel Retail (Cosmetics, Fragrances, Watches, fashion, Apparel, Wine & Spirits
- Very open to travel (50% to 70%)
- Fluent in English AND Spanish (French would be a strong plus)
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Appreciated previous experience: Bulgari, Cartier, Christian Dior, Clarins, Clinique, Cosmetics of France, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, Occitane, P&G, Parbel, Procter & Gamble, Roger & Gallet, YSL Beaute
- Appreciated previous titles: Area Sales Manager, Area Export Manager, Area Manager, Account Executive, Business Development Manager, Territory Manager
