Our Client

Our client for this opportunity is the Latin America Regional Headquarter for a well known Luxury Cosmetics and Fragrances Group.

Objective

The Senior Area Sales Manager will be in charge of visiting its South American territories to develop the business through a network or agents and distributors.

Ideal Profile

The ideal profile is a bilingual (English and Spanish) sales executive with strong previous experience in the Luxury Goods industry with Latin American local markets).

Job Description

  • Forecast sales by product and by territory
  • Travel and meet with the distributors
  • Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients
  • Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS
  • Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget
  • Manage your P&L on your territory (for senior level)
  • Visit points of sales
  • Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented
  • Train the sales staff
  • Coordinate promotional events and launches
  • Control inventory
  • Watch competition and market trends

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
  • 3 to 5 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries, latin american local markets or travel retail (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food & beverage, wine & spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)
  • Bilingual English and Spanish (French and/or Portuguese a plus)
  • Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular
  • VERY open to Travel internationally and work extended hours
  • Familiar with multicultural and international environment
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Perfect presentation and communication skills
  • Very good skills with Excel and the rest of MS Office
  • Appreciated previous experience: Bulgari, Cartier, Christian Dior, Clarins, Clinique, Cosmetics of France, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, Occitane, P&G, Parbel, Procter & Gamble, Roger & Gallet, YSL Beaute
  • Appreciated previous titles: Area Sales Manager, Area Export Manager, Area Manager, Account Executive, Business Development Manager, Territory Manager

Compensation

  • Annual base: $75k to $100k depending on experience
  • Plus bonus
  • Full benefits package
