Our Client
Our client for this position is a Wine & Spirits distributor working with some of the most prestigious liquor, champagne and wine brands in Travel Retail and Latin American local markets.
Objective
The Wine & Spirits Director will be in charge of developping an existing portfolio of strong premium wine, spirits and beverage brands in Latin America for both Travel Retail and Local markets.
Ideal Profile
The ideal profile is a very entrepreneur minded Area Sales Manager willing to step up to a Director level is a very fast growing and profitable business. Compensation will include an important profit sharing structure.
Job Description
- Forecast sales by product and by territory
- Travel and meet with the distributors
- Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients
- Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS
- Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget
- Manage your P&L on your territory
- Visit points of sales
- Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented
- Train the sales staff
- Coordinate promotional events and launches
- Control inventory
- Watch competition and market trends
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
- 3 to 5 years experience in the luxury or consumer goods industries, latin american local markets or travel retail (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, apparel, food & beverage, wine & spirits, consumer electronics, etc…)
- Bilingual English and Spanish (French and/or Portuguese a plus)
- Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular
- VERY open to Travel internationally and work extended hours
- Familiar with multicultural and international environment
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Perfect presentation and communication skills
- Very good skills with Excel and the rest of MS Office
- Appreciated previous experience: Bulgari, Cartier, Christian Dior, Clarins, Clinique, Cosmetics of France, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, Occitane, P&G, Parbel, Procter & Gamble, Roger & Gallet, YSL Beaute
- Appreciated previous titles: Area Sales Manager, Area Export Manager, Area Manager, Account Executive, Business Development Manager, Territory Manager
Compensation
- Annual base of $75k + 40% to 50% bonus
- 3 to 4 weeks vacations
