Objective

The Director of Finance & Administration will implement the infrastructure and systems needed to support strategic objectives. He or she will be responsible for the oversight of administrative and financial systems, including finance, accounting, information technology, and logistics.
As a member of the senior management team, the Director of Finance and Administration will be involved in a range of strategic planning and internal initiatives. This executive will have direct management responsibility for a staff of 4, which includes: Accounting Manager, Logistic Manager, IT Manager and Treasure.

The ideal profile for this Finance Director position is a high potential, ambitious and entrepreneurial Finance Manager who wants to be part of a fast growing company were he/she can really have an input on the business. A previous experience in both large and small companies would be very appreciated.

Job Description

• The Director of Finance and Administration will have overall financial management responsibility, including the review and approval of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting materials and metrics for the Executive Director and Board of Directors.
• S/he will oversee budget execution, financial forecasting, cash flow, and accounts payable and receivable.
• The executive will serve as a partner to the Executive Director on the organization’s administrative and operational processes, with a goal of continuously developing and improving systems.
• He or she will work with Executive Director and other directors in the identification and development of new business.
• S/he must evaluate and improve, with the help of IT Manager and team, information technology infrastructure, implementing new technologies to support key capabilities as required for future growth.
• He or she, with the support of Logistic Manager and his team, will be responsible for supply chain processes and customer satisfaction. They will work to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all storage and distribution processes.
• He or she will work closely with treasure and his team to ensure proper payable and receivable execution.

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration (Master’s preferred)
• 8 to 10 years previous experience in Finance preferably within a commercial or retail business
• Strong leadership, analytical and commercial skills, perfect attention to details
• Must be a self-starter, proactive team player and highly organized
• Good at building relationships across all levels of personnel
• Polished presentation and interpersonal skills
• Powerful and articulate communicator, in terms of written and oral communications
• Track record of achieving excellent results in credit negotiations and business development
• Needs good knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish

Compensation

• Annual base salary of $75k to $95k depending on experience
• 20% to 50% yearly bonus to be negotiated
• Full Benefits Package
