Our Client

Our client for this position is the Americas Travel Retail and Latin America local markets office of a very well know luxury goods group

Objective

The Sales Assistant will be in charge of providing an administrative support to the Area Sales Managers travelling throughout Latin America and the Caribbean

Ideal Profile

Ideal profile is an experienced administrative professional with a previous background in wholesale of luxury goods (Fragrances, Cosmetics, Skincare, Watches, Jewelry, Fashion)

Job Description

• Work directly with sales team to coordinate product lists and provide customer service to retail and wholesale accounts
• Analyze customer orders versus forecasts
• Coordinate closely with Customer Service regarding orders (pricing, quantities, shipping…)
• Process and follwo thru on customer orders
• Design and implement new Excel reporting tools as required by the job
• Develop and organize retail presentations on PowerPoint
• Perform administrative duties such as answering the phone and preparing expense reports

Requirements

• 3 years previous experience in a sales support role
• experience in consumer goods or luxury goods company preferred (Fragrances, perfumes, fashion, apparel, Watches, writing instruments…)
• Very good presentation and communication skills
• Very detail oriented and organized
• Very good analytical skills
• Very proficient in MS Office (in particular MS Excel and PowerPoint)
• Up-to-date US work authorization (H1B, Green Card or citizenship)
• Appreciated previous experience: Bulgari, Cartier, Christian Dior, Clarins, Clinique, Cosmetics of France, Coty, Elizabeth Arden, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, Kenzo, Kiehl’s, L’Oreal, LVMH, MAC Cosmetics, Occitane, P&G, Parbel, Procter & Gamble, Roger & Gallet, YSL Beaute
• Appreciated previous titles: Sales Assistant, Sales Coordinator, Commercial Coordinator, Sales and Marketing Assistant, Export Assistant

Compensation

• $40k to $45k depending on experience
• Full benefits package
