OUR CLIENT
Our client for this opportunity is a Latin America Regional Headquarter for a well known Luxury Goods group.
OBJECTIVE
The Area Sales Manager will be in charge of visiting its Latin American and Caribbean territories to ensure sell in and sell through goals are met as well as the brand’s positioning and image.

IDEAL PROFILE
The ideal profile is a trilingual (English, Spanish and French) sales executive with strong previous experience in the Luxury Goods industry with Latin America whether Local Markets (or travel retail).
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Forecast sales by product and by territory
  • Travel and meet with the distributors
  • Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients
  • Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS
  • Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget
  • Manage your P&L on your territory (for senior level)
  • Visit points of sales
  • Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented
  • Train the sales staff
  • Coordinate promotional events and launches
  • Control inventory
  • Watch competition and market trends
REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)
  • 3 to 5 years experience in luxury goods industries, latin american local markets or travel retail (Perfumes, fragrances, watches, timepieces, jewelry, fashion, wine & spirits, etc…)
  • Trilingual English, Spanish and French
  • Excellent with MS Office, Excel in particular
  • VERY open to Travel internationally and work extended hours
  • Familiar with multicultural and international environment
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Perfect presentation and communication skills
  • Very good skills with Excel and the rest of MS Office
  • Up-to-date work authorization (US Citizenship, Green Card, renewable H1B visa…)
  • Appreciated previous experience: Baume & Mercier, Bulgari, Cartier, Dior, Clarins, Clinique, Essence Corp, Estee Lauder, Givenchy, Guerlain, IWC, Jeager Lecoultre, Kenzo, L’Oreal, LVMH, L’Occitane, Montblanc, P&G, Parbel, Procter & Gamble, Richemont, Swatch, Tag Heuer, YSL Beaute
  • Appreciated previous titles: Area Sales Manager, Area Manager, Area Export Manager, Account Executive, Area Executive, Account Manager
COMPENSATION
  • Annual base of $65k to $75k
  • Plus bonus
  • Full benefits package
