OUR CLIENT
Our client for this position is a well established privately owned Houseware and Tabletop importer and distributor, headquartered in the greater New York area.
OBJECTIVE
The Product Manager is responsible of the product lifecycle from conception through obsolescence. It involves product development, budgets and marketing plans.

IDEAL PROFILE
The ideal profile for this position is a marketing professional with a successful previous experience as an Assistant Product Manager in the houseware and/or tabletop industry.
JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Manage the product line, balancing between expansion, obsolescence, cost reductions and pricing for established product lines
  • Manage new product development efforts relative to retail
  • Represent product concepts to retailers (Discounters, mass retailers, speciality stores, department stores…)
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3 years successful experience in Marketing in the Houseware and/or Tabletop industry
  • Very good marketing academic background
  • Very dynamic and creative
  • Passion for the Houseware/tabletop industry
  • Good analytical skills
COMPENSATION
  • Around $60k in base salary to be negotiated + Benefits
