Our client for this position is a well established family owned kitchenware manufacturer and distributor, headquartered in the greater New York area.
OBJECTIVE
The Sales Manager will be in charge of opening the Latin American market for the company by closing deals with distributors, importers and retailers. He/she will use his/her address book in this region and his/her management skills to quickly build sales throughout Latin America.

IDEAL PROFILE
The ideal profile for this career opportunity is a strong and experienced sales manager with an up-to-date address book of Latin American distributors and retail chains, willing to work under a very strong commission structure on top of a $60k base salary. Houseware industry experience necessary. Based out of New Jersey. No relocation coverage.

JOB DESCRIPTION
  • Open new accounts by cold calling on potential customers and regular visits
  • Grow sales and profit with existing accounts according to budget
  • Develop and manage a team of 3 Sales Representatives in Latin America
  • Prepare forecasts and operational objectives by account and category
  • Plan and coordinate orders to new and existing customers
  • Participate in designing marketing materials to boost sales in accordance with the Marketing Department
  • Manage customers stock levels
  • Analyze and challenge customers sales forecasts
  • Maintain and proper reporting to corporate
  • Participate in Trade Shows
  • Coordinate promotional events
REQUIREMENTS
  • True sales mindset, willing to work with a strong commision structure
  • Previous experience in Kitchenware, Houseware, Tableware, Tabletop, Flatware, Dinnerware, Chinaware, Glassware, Barware, Cutlery, etc very appreciated
  • Up-to-date address book of retailers and distributors from Venezuela and Colombia up to Guatemala
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Fully bilingual English and Spanish (portuguese a strong plus!!)
COMPENSATION
  • $60k yearly base salary + very strong commission structure
  • Total expected compensation: between $100k and $150k
