Our Client

Our client for this position is a well established family owned kitchenware manufacturer and distributor, headquartered in the greater New York area.

Objective

The Central America Sales Representative will be in charge of opening and developping the business with large retailers and distributors/importers in countries around Panama from Venezuela and Colombia up to Mexico.

Ideal Profile

The ideal profile is a strong local sales executive based in Panama with an up-to-date address book of Central American retail chains and distributors. A previous experience in kitchenware, houseware is highly preferable. Innovative and visionary mindset with a “hand-on” and aggressive approach.

Job Description

• Open new accounts by cold calling on potential customers and regular visits
• Grow sales and profit with existing accounts according to budget
• Review purchase orders for accuracy
• Prepare forecasts and operational objectives by account and category
• Plan and coordinate orders to new and existing customers
• Participate in designing marketing materials to boost sales in accordance with the Marketing Department
• Manage customers stock levels
• Analyze and challenge customers sales forecasts
• Maintain and proper reporting to corporate
• Participate in Trade Shows
• Coordinate promotional events

Requirements

• True sales mindset, willing to work with a strong commision structure
• Previous experience in Kitchenware, Houseware, Tableware, Tabletop, Flatware, Dinnerware, Chinaware, Glassware, Barware, Cutlery, etc… very appreciated
• Up-to-date address book of retailers and distributors from Venezuela and Colombia up to Guatemala
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish

Compensation

• $2,000 base salary per month + strong commission structure
