Job Description

Title: Controller

Location: Miami, FL

Reporting to: US CEO

Objective:

Coordinate financial analysis and controlling tasks to support the CEO as well as Sales and Marketing executives.

Main Responsibilities:

·         Perform financial statement analysis

·         Coordinate with all department heads to prepare annual budgets, monthly forecasts, and plans

·         Present and obtain approval from the corporate headquarters for the budgets

·         Approve monthly inventory purchases and monitor stock levels

·         Review monthly sales forecasts with the Marketing Manager to minimize obsolete stock and ensure a high sales order fill rate

·         Oversee receivables collection, approve credit, and monitor A/R insurance coverage

·         Work with all departments  to ensure shipments comply with monthly sales cutoff

·         Approve all company commitments including all employee expense reports, inventory purchase orders, and all operational expenses

·         Work with auditors to complete mid-year and annual audits

Requirements:

·         Bachelor Degree minimum (MBA a plus)

·         3  to 5 years experience in the Luxury or Consumer Goods industries or Financial Auditing industry

·         Bilingual English and Spanish (French and/or Portuguese a plus).

·         Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel

·         Familiar with multicultural and international environment

·         UP-TO-DATE US work authorization (US Citizenship, Green Card, H1B Visa,…)

Compensation:

·         Base around $70k to be negotiated and depending on experience.
