Our client for this position is a very well known luxury and consumer goods company. The position will be for their Broward County office

 

Job Description

 

Title: Business Development Director

 

Location: South Broward County, Florida, USA

 

Main Areas of Responsibility:

·    Develop a comprehensive annual profit plan in association with the Sales and Marketing management in line with corporate guidelines.

·    Ensure the achievement of profit plan figures for the department.

·    Supervise commercial sales and marketing management groups to ensure proper implementation of marketing plan and achievement of sales target.

·    Identify new business opportunities to maintain a constant growth within the market.

·    Maintain level of expenditures to sales in accordance with the department budgeted targets.

·    Maintain communication with global marketing/commercial.

·    Ongoing communication and discussion of plans, ideas, projects, problems, etc with the staff to ensure understanding and commitment to the department plans and goals.

·    Develop Pricing Structure for Clients in accordance to market/channel profile and Company’s profitability target.

·    Ensure proper compliance of Customer agreement/Contracts.

·    Manage a group of 6 Area Sales Managers which cover the Americas (Caribbean, North, Central, South and North America including Hawaii)

 

 

Requirements:

·    Very open to travel (50%)

·    Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills.

·    Travel Retail/Duty Free experience required. Consumer packaged goods background required; Industry (cosmetic/fragrance) experience a plus. Marketing background a plus.

·    5 to 10 years Sales experience required. Should have at least 5 years of Management experience.

·    Bilingual (Spanish, English)

·    Strong financial background a plus.

·    Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Sales/Marketing preferred. Masters degree a plus.

 

 

Compensation Package:

·    Base salary $90k to $110k depending on profile and experience

·    Full benefits package
