Our client for this position is worldwide leader in the luxury goods and fashion industry. The position is for the Latin American office in Miami.
Job Description
Title: Area Sales Manager
Location: Miami, FL
Reporting to: Managing Director
Territory: Some Latin American countries and the French Antilles
Positions supervised: Account Executives
Objective:
Implement the best strategy to develop sales and increase the profit of the area, improve the market share and rankings and strengthen the image of the brands in all markets.
Main Responsibilities:
· Direct Management and serving of Accounts.
· Coordinate new product launches.
· Responsible for establishing and implementing sales, advertising and promotional budgets.
· Create promotional marketing plans.
· Track market trends and developments.
· Prepare monthly business reports.
· Responsible for negotiating co-op advertising, agreements, salaries and commissions for sales personnel.
· Will manage all agents contracted to the company in the area.
· Develop strong business relationships with the Retailers in the area.
· Responsible for overseeing the daily operation of account merchandising, strategic planning and sales promotion execution.
Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree minimum
· 4 – 5 years previous experience in International Sales, preferably with Luxury Goods industries
· Fully proficient in English, Spanish AND FRENCH
· VERY OPEN to travel (70%)
· Strong ability in budgets and business plans
· Proficient with MS Office, STRONG SKILLS WITH EXCEL !!
· Familiar with multicultural and international environment
· UP-TO-DATE US work authorization (US Citizenship, Green Card, H1B Visa,…)
Compensation:
· $75k to $90k annual base gross salary depending on profile and experience
· $10k to $15k in yearly bonus
