***Closed*** Area Sales Manager – Americas

Job Description

 

Manage a territory for one or several brands to increase sales with existing and new clients, usually local distributors. Travel on a regular basis to these markets to strategize and implement sales and marketing policies with the distributors and the points of sales (POS).

 

This position has very different levels of seniority.

 

·    Forecast sales by product and by territory

·    Travel and meet with the distributors

·    Budget and plan on a yearly basis with your clients

·    Negotiate prices, quantity and spaces in POS

·    Advise your clients on how to spend their marketing budget

·    Manage your P&L on your territory (for senior level)

·    Manage between 0 and 3 Account Executives depending on level of seniority

·    Visit POS

·    Make sure the marketing plan and the merchandising is properly implemented

·    Train the sales staff

·    Coordinate promotional events and launches

·    Control inventory

·    Watch competition and market trends

 

 

Requirements:

 

·    MBA or inetrnqtional equivalent

·    5 to 7 years previous professional experience

·    English, bilingual Spanish highly recommended (French and/or Portuguese a plus).

·    Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel

·    VERY open to Travel internationally and work extended hours

·    Familiar with multicultural and international environment

·    Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize tasks

·    Perfect presentation and communication skills

·    UP-TO-DATE US work authorization (US Citizenship, Green Card, H1B Visa,…)
